For sealing the end of 42 mm copper tube, this Copper End Cap has one female solder socket and a closed outer end. The capillary connection provides a permanent termination without a threaded plug or additional adaptor. This fitting is used in water-supply, heat-distribution and HVAC systems. Installation is carried out by soft soldering or brazing according to project requirements; EN 1254-1:2021 covers capillary fittings of this type. Select the cap according to the 42 mm outside diameter of the copper tube.
