The 12 mm Copper End Cap is used to terminate copper pipework or close an unused end of 12 mm copper tube. It has one internal solder socket and a closed end, creating a permanent non-threaded termination after soldering or brazing. The cap is suitable for copper pipework for water supply, heating and climate-control equipment. Capillary joints may be soft-soldered or brazed depending on service conditions; EN 1254-1:2021 covers this type of copper fitting. Match the socket size directly to the tube outside diameter before installation.
