This copper end cap for 18 mm tube has one female solder socket and a closed end. It is intended to terminate a line, close an end connection or create a blind end in copper pipework without threaded components. The fitting is suitable for copper pipework for water supply, heating and climate-control equipment. The capillary joint may be soft-soldered or brazed according to project requirements; EN 1254-1:2021 provides the technical context for this fitting class. The cap size should match the 18 mm outside diameter of the copper tube.
