What Is Rolled Metal and What We Offer
Rolled metal refers to products made by rolling steel or non-ferrous metal at a metallurgical plant: sheets, pipes, round bars, rebar, beams, angles, and dozens of other profiles. The shape, grade, and production method determine which product suits a specific task, so it helps to understand the differences between items before you buy.
By production method, metal is divided into hot-rolled, cold-rolled, and calibrated. Hot-rolled products are manufactured at high temperature: they are more affordable and come in a wider size range, making them suitable for construction and metal structures. Cold-rolled and calibrated metal have tighter dimensional tolerances and a smoother surface, making them the choice for parts with strict tolerances and machining.
The quality of rolled metal depends on the steel or alloy grade and the manufacturing standard. In Ukraine, products are manufactured to GOST and DSTU standards, so each catalog category specifies which standard the metal meets and whether a European equivalent exists. This makes it easy to find a substitute if the grade specified in your project documentation is temporarily unavailable.
The choice of rolled metal depends on the load, operating environment, and how parts are joined. Rebar, beams, and profile pipe are common choices for construction and monolithic structures. In mechanical engineering, round bar, sheet, and hex bar are used more often. Pipelines for heating, water, and gas supply also require fittings. If the metal will be exposed to an aggressive environment or used in food production, choose stainless steel; for lightweight, conductive structures, aluminum or copper are better suited.
Ferrous Metal
Ferrous metal includes carbon and low-alloy steel: rebar, hot-rolled and cold-rolled sheet, steel and profile pipe, round bar, square bar, flat bar, I-beam, angle, channel, hex bar, and wire rod. It is the base material for construction, metal structures, and mechanical engineering.
Non-Ferrous Metal
Non-ferrous metals include aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, and titanium, available as sheet, round bar, pipe, wire, strip, and busbar. They are used where light weight, electrical conductivity, or corrosion resistance matter: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and the food and chemical industries.
Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is available as sheet, round bar, pipe, wire, and flat bar in austenitic and heat-resistant AISI grades. Suitable for food production, medical equipment, the chemical industry, and facilities with strict hygiene and corrosion-resistance requirements.
Fittings and Pipeline Components
Fittings include elbows, tees, flanges, gate valves, ball valves, control valves, couplings, and other components for installing heating, water supply, and gas supply pipelines.

- Steel or alloy grade: carbon structural steel is cheaper than alloy or stainless steel.
