Copper End Cap 22 mm for soldering provides a permanent closed termination for copper pipework. The internal socket accepts 22 mm copper tube and the solid end blocks the passage, so no threaded plug or additional closing fitting is required. The cap is used in heating, water-supply and refrigeration circuits. The joint is formed by capillary soft soldering or brazing depending on operating conditions; EN 1254-1:2021 covers capillary fittings for copper tubes. The key selection parameter is the 22 mm tube outside diameter.
