Copper End Cap 16 mm is a capillary fitting for closing the end of a copper pipeline. The female socket is sized for 16 mm copper tube and the closed end blocks the passage after the soldered or brazed joint is completed. This configuration is used in water supply, heating, air-conditioning and cooling systems where the end of the line must be permanently terminated. EN 1254-1:2021 covers this class of copper fittings. Correct selection depends on the tube outside diameter and the need for a soldered rather than threaded termination.
