Copper Street Elbow 89 mm 45° (M/F) for soldering is designed to turn 89 mm copper tube through 45°. The one-socket configuration has one female solder cup and one plain male end, so the fitting can be installed as a capillary joint without a threaded adaptor. This 45° copper elbow is used in main runs of heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems. The joint may be soft-soldered or brazed according to system requirements; EN 1254-1:2021 covers this class of capillary copper fittings. When selecting the fitting, check the 89 mm tube outside diameter and the M/F end configuration, where the plain end fits into the socket of a compatible fitting.
