For a 45° turn between two sections of 12 mm copper tube, use this Copper Bend 12 mm 45° (F/F) for soldering. Female sockets on both ends are designed for capillary joints and create an equal-size connection without threaded parts. Typical applications include heating, water-supply and refrigeration circuits. The joint is made by soft soldering or brazing in accordance with the system requirements; EN 1254-1:2021 covers capillary fittings of this type. Two sockets are appropriate when both incoming pipe sections terminate in plain 12 mm copper tube.
