This two-socket 45° copper bend is intended for joining 54 mm copper tube and changing the direction of the line by 45°. Each female socket receives a plain tube end, producing an equal-size capillary connection without threaded elements. The bend is commonly used in main runs of heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems. The joints may be soft-soldered or brazed according to operating requirements; EN 1254-1:2021 covers capillary fittings of this type. The key selection parameters are the 45° angle, 54 mm tube outside diameter and F/F two-socket design.
