This 45° elbow for 64 mm copper tube has one solder socket and one plain male end for a capillary joint. The configuration is commonly described as a Copper Street Elbow or M/F elbow and is intended for soldered or brazed pipework. It is used in main runs of heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems. Soft soldering or brazing is selected according to the system temperature and project requirements; EN 1254-1:2021 covers this category of capillary fittings. For correct selection, match the 64 mm tube outside diameter and confirm that a one-socket M/F end arrangement is required.
