Copper Straight Coupling 89 mm for soldering is designed to join two copper tubes with the same 89 mm outside diameter. Two female solder sockets accept plain tube ends and form an equal-size capillary connection without threaded components. This coupling is used in main runs of heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems. The joints may be soft-soldered or brazed according to system requirements; EN 1254-1:2021 covers this class of capillary fittings. The main selection parameter is the 89 mm outside diameter of both connected tubes.
