The 22 mm 90° Copper Street Elbow with one socket changes the direction of copper pipework in a compact assembly. The female end accepts 22 mm copper tube and the plain male end fits into the socket of a compatible solder fitting. This M/F configuration is used in copper pipework for water supply, heating and climate-control equipment. Capillary joints may be soft-soldered or brazed depending on service conditions; EN 1254-1:2021 covers this type of copper fitting. Compared with a long bend, the street elbow has a more compact geometry.
