For a 90° turn between two sections of 42 mm copper tube, this long Copper Bend has female solder sockets at both ends. The F/F design joins tubes of the same outside diameter and creates an equal-size capillary connection without threaded parts. Long bends are suitable for water-supply, heat-distribution and HVAC systems. The joints are soft-soldered or brazed as specified by the system design; EN 1254-1:2021 covers capillary fittings of this type. This two-socket version differs from the M/F long bend with one plain male end.
