Copper Reducing Coupling 42x35 mm for soldering is designed to join copper tubes with different outside diameters: 42 and 35 mm. Two female solder sockets of different sizes provide a direct reduction from the larger tube to the smaller tube without threaded adaptors. This fitting is used in building-services water supply, heating and cooling systems. The joints may be soft-soldered or brazed according to system requirements; EN 1254-1:2021 covers this class of capillary fittings. Selection should account for both connection sizes: 42 mm on the larger side and 35 mm on the smaller side.
