This copper reducing coupling for 28 mm and 22 mm tube has two female solder sockets of different sizes. It is intended for a direct reduction between pipe sections while retaining a fully soldered capillary connection without threaded joints. The fitting is suitable for copper pipework for heating, air-conditioning and process cooling. Joints are made by soft soldering or brazing as specified by the project; EN 1254-1:2021 provides the technical context for this fitting class. The 28 mm size is the larger connection and 22 mm is the smaller connection.
