Copper Reducing Coupling 35x18 mm for soldering is designed to join copper tubes with different outside diameters: 35 and 18 mm. Two female solder sockets of different sizes provide a direct reduction from the larger tube to the smaller tube without threaded adaptors. This fitting is used in building-services water supply, heating and cooling systems. The joints may be soft-soldered or brazed according to system requirements; EN 1254-1:2021 covers this class of capillary fittings. Selection should account for both connection sizes: 35 mm on the larger side and 18 mm on the smaller side.
