The 8 mm 90° Copper Bend with one socket is a long-pattern fitting for changing the direction of copper pipework through a right angle. One end is a female solder socket for 8 mm copper tube and the other is a plain male end that fits into a compatible capillary fitting. The bend is used in copper pipework for water supply, heating and climate-control equipment. Capillary joints may be soft-soldered or brazed depending on service conditions; EN 1254-1:2021 covers this type of copper fitting. Choose the M/F version when one internal socket and one plain end are required.
