This two-socket 90° copper elbow joins two 18 mm copper tubes of the same diameter. Both female sockets are designed for capillary soldering or brazing, creating a compact equal-size joint without threaded components. The fitting is used in copper pipework for water supply, heating and climate-control equipment, especially where installation space is restricted. EN 1254-1:2021 covers this type of capillary copper fitting. Key selection parameters are the 18 mm tube outside diameter, 90° angle and two female sockets.
