Copper Reducing Coupling 35x15 mm M/F for soldering is a one-socket capillary reducer with one female socket and one plain male solder end. For this size, the plain male end is 35 mm and the female socket accepts 15 mm copper tube. The 35 mm male end fits directly into a compatible 35 mm solder socket, while the 15 mm tube enters the female socket of the reducer. This M/F design is used in water supply, heating, air-conditioning and cooling pipework when a compact reduction is required without an intermediate tube section. Both connections are made by capillary soldering or brazing, and the fitting has no threaded connection. EN 1254-1:2021 covers this class of capillary fittings; the soldering method should be selected according to the system requirements.
